The National Fireworks 2025 – 2026

During the 2007–2008 New Year’s transition, we took the initiative for Het Nationale Vuurwerk. Now, 18 years later, Het Nationale Vuurwerk has grown into the largest fireworks show in the Netherlands. From the iconic Erasmus Bridge, we once again traditionally rang in 2026 this year, together with more than 80,000 visitors. From 10:30 p.m., the festivities began with music along the quays. At 11:58 p.m., the countdown started and we counted down together with Mayor Carola Schouten, followed at midnight by the highlight: the largest fireworks show in the Netherlands. All of this could be followed live from 11:45 p.m. on Rijnmond, where presenter Frank Stout reported from the quays.
