The National Fireworks 2024-2025

During the New Year's Eve celebration of 2007-2008, we took the initiative to launch The National Fireworks. Now, 17 years later, it has grown into the largest (eco) fireworks show in the Netherlands. Once again this year, we welcomed 2025 from the iconic Erasmus Bridge, together with more than 70,000 visitors. This year, The National Fireworks was expanded into a full experience. Starting at 10:30 PM, the festivities kicked off with music and performances along the quays. At 11:57 PM, the countdown began, and we all counted down together with the new mayor, Carola Schouten. At midnight, the highlight followed: the largest (eco) fireworks show in the Netherlands lit up the sky! All of this was broadcast live on TV Rijnmond starting at 11:00 PM, with presenter Frank Stout reporting live from the quays.
